About Titanium
We love the look of titanium with oxidized silver, brass and copper, as well as gold. The matte, light grey finish of plain (non-anodized) titanium shares the industrial look and strength of steel without its heavy weight. We hand-weave all our titanium chain, which gives us a good workout in the hands, wrists and forearms!

Titanium, a metal named after formidable giants from Greek mythology, is said to possess certain beneficial properties. When worn close to the skin, titanium is thought to attract oxygen to the body that is absorbed to relieve joint pain and speed recovery from injuries. Titanium is also said to have positive energy charges that cancel out pain's negative charge, thereby easing discomfort. Because of these properties, many athletes turn to titanium bracelets, necklaces and rings to aid in performance.

Titanium is an ideal metal for jewelry. It is resistant to salt water, chlorine and some acids. It does not react with human skin, making it suitable for people with metal allergies. Its lightness makes it an ideal metal for use in chains. Our non-anodized titanium chain will become shinier as the links rub together with wear, but it will not require any additional care to maintain its color or finish. Colored, heat-anodized titanium, typically seen in blues, roses, and greens, will return to the base grey color with extended wear.
